Iran's leader accuses the West of creating "Iran-phobia"

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei lashed out against Western remarks about Iran’s nuclear activities claiming: “The fate of bullies”, who try “to impose” their own demands on other nations, is “inevitable fall.”

In a meeting today with the alumni of military academies in Mazandaran, he said: “Foreign powers admit to Iran’s military power only to create a fear of Iran in the region and the world.” Iran’s leader claimed, they try to scare away other nations and countries from Iran whilst “Iran’s advanced defense capabilities is no threat to its neighbours or other nations of the world.”

Ayatollah Khamenei announced that Iran has a message of “peace, prosperity and justice” for all the world and Iranian youth should use all of their power to actualize this message.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s remarks were prompted by Western allegations accusing Iran of “concealment” of its new uranium enrichment plant. The US and several European countries have announced that the existence of such a site intensifies their concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear activities.

Iran has announced that they have not violated any nuclear regulations and on October 25, International Atomic Energy Agency officials are supposed to inspect the new plant.

Despite the West’s repeated allegations that Iran could be in pursuit of making nuclear weapons, Iran has consistently denied the allegations and maintained that its nuclear activities are completely peaceful.
