Mousavi aides suspended from work at University

Ghorban BehzadianNejad - Alireza Beheshti
Tarbiyat Modarres University management has suspended two of their staff, Alireza Beheshti and Ghorban BehzadianNejad who were detained due to their connection with post-election protests in Iran.
Alireza Beheshti and Ghorban BehzadianNejad are two of opposition leader, MirHosein Mousavi’s senior aides.
Kalameh Website reports that in a letter the University has announced that Mr. Beheshti will not be able to continue teaching at the University until the court has announced its final decision in his case.
Ghorban BehzadianNejad’s job as a bacteriology professor at the Tarbiyat Modarres University is also under suspension.
He was the head of MirHosein Mousavi’s campaign headquarters and was arrested in December of last year.
The two professors no longer receive their salaries from the University, according to Kalameh website.
Farhad Daneshjou, the brother of current Minister of Science and Technology Kamran Daneshjou, is the president of Tarbiyat Modarres University.
The Minister of Science has started a campaign against reformist university lecturers and professors in reaction to post-election events. He has repeatedly announced that all university staff have to be committed to the Islamic worldview and announced the ministry has employment opportunities for thousands of committed professors.
In the meantime, progressive professors have been sacked or forced into early retirement.
