Mousavi denies conflicts amongst opposition leaders

MirHosein Mousavi announced that contrary to allegations of state-backed media that he has conflicts with Mehdi Karroubi and Mohammad Khatami, they in fact have no disagreements and are constantly in contact.

Ressalat newspaper announced in its September 21 issue that the “conflicts between Khatami with MirHosein and Karroubi are official” and they are upset that Mohammad Khatami has not accompanied the “Green Movement.”

Kaleme website reports that MirHosein Mousavi has announced: “In the ranks of the Green Movement and the reformists there are no conflicts.”

Ressalat contended that Khatami has criticized Mousavi and Karroubi’s “seditious approach.”

Mousavi stresses: “The Green Movement unlike the power-hungry factions does not have a ggodfather and rather than banking on individuals relies on the interactions of Green and progressive social networks and use a collective understanding.”

In recent weeks, the establishment has stepped up attacks on Mehdi Karroubi and MirHosein Mousavi with attacks on their home and offices.
