Iranian authorities to examine attack on students

Alaeddin Boroujerdi

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of Iran's National Security Commission, announced that the film released last week by the BBC regarding the attack of the dorm residents at Tehran University is suspect. He maintained that he has not seen the film but “since BBC has related it, it must be regarded with hesitation because this network is not trustworthy.”

He added that “the easiest art in filmmaking is editing to satisfy the producer’s needs.”

Iranian authorities claim the Fact-finding Committee of the parliament should examine the film. Eight months after the attack, the Committee has issued no reports regarding the attack on the university dormitory.

On June 15, the students at University of Tehran had gathered in protest to the alleged fraud in the elections which was confronted with the extreme violence and attack of government forces.

Opposition forces claim five students were killed in the attacks but government authorities reject this report and claim the event caused only 100 injuries.

he knows what he is talking about, his friends do it everyday. if they can deny killing of 6 million Jews, don't you think denying bbc wouldn't be a difficult thing to do.
