A number of unofficial reports announced that Nasrin Sotoudeh, who has been reportedly on hunger strike for over two weeks is also under severe torture in section 209 of Evin Prison. The reports indicate that Sotoudeh’s screams from her cell can be heard by her inmates.

Nasrin Sotoudeh, lawyer to number prominent political prisoners, was arrested on September 4, on charges of “activities against national security” and “propaganda against the regime.” Over two weeks ago, reformist media reported that Sotoudeh has been on hunger strike for being denied her rights in prison.
